Transcribed by Dimitry Ekshtut JI: What was it that inspired you to take this life path? Paul Bollenback: By the time I was a teenager, I knew I wanted to be a writer, an actor, or a musician. Those were the things that interested me. Both of my parents were scientists, which is kind of strange. I found out later on in life that my father’s side of the family was very musical, and he was the musician.
